I cannot believe we are already in May! As always, I’ve rounded up 10 events happening this month, in case you’re looking for ways to connect with other people, something to do on the weekend, or just want to stay in-the-know of what’s happening around the valley. And TWO of them are events I am putting on myself, so be on the lookout for those!

Phoenix Vintage Society - Paint N Sip Tea Party | May 10th
Looking for a fun, new way to express your creativity? Join the Phoenix Vintage Society for a Paint N Sip Tea Party. You’ll paint your own teacup and saucer while you sip on tea and snack on treats with the included high tea service. Once you’re done painting, you can fill your teacup with succulents to create a planter!

Southwest Sampler Girls Only "Self Love Summer" Event | May 17th
I have partnered with MOD Studios Scottsdale to bring you girls a FREE event happening on May 17th for the jewelry release featuring my new summer collection shown above! This collection (the starfish) symbolizes self growth and healing parts of you and your past so that you may fall in love with the renewal of who you have come to be through life's journey. This event will be from 10-12pm at MOD Studios Scottsdale with activations from a MOD Studios charm bar, $1 off specialty matcha a Tamosan Coffee Lounge, flash tattoos from Aeinked, a photo booth from Desert Luxe Photo Booth & more! Dog Days at The Garden | May 10th
Bring your pup out to the Desert Botanical Garden for a fun weekend adventure. Enjoy the outdoors and take some great photos while you explore the Garden’s trails with your four-legged best friend.
Admission is included with a membership or general admission ticket.

Phoenix Bike to Work Day 2025 | May 15th
As you may know, I recently got a bike and so it only made sense to include a bike-centered event. Plus, this one is FREE! Phoenix Bike to Work Day will be a fun and energizing 3-mile group ride celebrating active commuting and community! The route will showcase the protected bike lanes on 3rd Street, heading south from Steele Indian School Park into the heart of downtown Phoenix and ends at the Arizona Center where breakfast will be available, and participants can enjoy free giveaways and enter to win prizes.
Sidewinder Hot Dog Eating Contest | May 18th
Looking for a challenge? Enter Sidewinder’s hotdog eating contest. Think you have what it takes to win? Head to Sidewinder to purchase an entry ticket (you can purchase as many as you’d like), a raffle will be drawn to pick the 10 contestants, and then the winner of the hotdog eating contest will receive $5,000! Entry tickets must be purchased in person at Sidewinder by May 12th, as this is when the 10 contestants will be chosen.
May 2025 #TrashTag Cleanup | May 17th
Join Keep Tempe Beautiful for a morning of cleaning up trash and little around Tempe Town Lake. They have sign ups open for 3 shifts and you can work as many shifts as you’d like. This is the perfect opportunity to get outside, connect with the community, and work together to keep litter out of Tempe Town Lake.
Tickets are FREE but you’ll want to grab some here to let them know you’re coming!
Mac & Cheese Festival | May 24th
Mac and cheese lovers of all ages, come together at Chase Field for the inaugural mac and cheese festival. It’ll be a fun-filled afternoon of mouthwatering mac and cheese-themed bites, refreshing drinks and exciting live entertainment. This would make such a fun budget-friendly date or friend date with tickets starting at $15.

Ice Cream Run 2025 | May 10th
Get outside and have some fun at the Ice Cream Run. Whether you’re a running enthusiast, a newbie, or just want to come for the free ice cream, the 2025 Ice Cream Run is an opportunity to get moving, connect with the community, and most of all, have fun. The total length is 3 miles at whatever pace works for you. There’ll be FREE ice cream at the finish line, activities and giveaways, and proceeds go to Maggie’s Place, a local non-profit helping vulnerable mothers and children thrive.

MVM Summer Series at The Duce | May 18th
Melrose Vintage Market is moving indoors for 5 themed markets at The Duce this summer, the first being their Spring Revival Market. Enjoy curated vendors, brunch, cocktails, live music, free valet and metered parking. Entry is $5 per person or group and includes market access plus a ticket to their 50/50 raffle. One lucky winner takes home half the pot!
