3 FREE Arizona Spring Hobbies
Spring in Arizona is arguably the best season for outdoor activities. The sun is out, it's not too hot yet, and everything is coming back to life after winter. With how expensive life can be these days, I wanted to bring you along on a day in my life where I share 3 FREE Arizona spring hobbies to get you outside before the summer heat creeps up on us.
3 FREE Arizona Spring Hobbies
Start your morning with some outdoor activity.
One of my favorite things to do this time of year with the sun rising earlier is to get outside first thing in the morning. Morning sunshine is so good for your overall wellbeing. This particular day I took you along to do some outdoor sprints at a new-to-me hiking spot. It’s a place I’ve heard of before, but hadn’t yet made it to. Then on the way back I stopped by one of my tried and true spots for a little bonus round. I share all of the details for where I went with the name, location, and my honest opinions on them.

The best 7 mile trail that nobody knows about.
My next stop on my day of free hobbies tour was a spot that a lot of people know about, but not a lot of people know all of the details about. I took my longboard out for a ride along a 7 mile trail in the middle of the city. It’s a place I’m sure many people have been to, but I don’t know that everyone knows how long it actually is. There’s a fully paved path that’s perfect for walking, biking, running, or in my case, long-boarding. Plus it takes you through golf courses, lakes, and some really pretty areas.

Relax with a picnic.
My final stop for the day of free hobbies was a picnic at one of my favorite parks. If you know the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, then you know that some of the parks can be a little uncomfortable to be at by yourself, just as far as safety goes. But, the park I love the most always has the nicest people and I always feel safe just being by myself there. A lot of people go there to just chill and hangout on blankets, they bring their dogs, and on this I decided to bring my lunch and one of my favorite books and read for a bit.

Given that the weather is so beautiful in the Phoenix area right now, I wanted to take advantage of being outside. This day of 3 FREE Arizona spring hobbies was exactly what I needed to reconnect with myself and find new things to do while being away from a screen, which is how I spend a lot of my days due to the nature of my job. Even though we’re still enjoying spring temperatures, remember, we are in the desert. Water and sun protection are always a must for me, especially when the days are getting warmer.
