Arizona Distilling Company is the second-oldest craft distillery in the state and has been devoting seven p lus years to refining their technique. This devotion has resulted in beautifully crafted spirits such as the Award-winning Desert Durum Wheat Whiskey; Arizona’s first ever grain-to-bottle whiskey.
TAPROOM
The Arizona Distilling Company taproom is in a great location, within walking distance to everything on Mill Ave in Downtown Tempe. Sip on tastes of caramel and vanilla, pecan pie and black mission figs, or cinnamon and citrus. All of these flavors can be found on the conscious cocktail menu featuring their award-winning spirits.
The taproom also features a food menu which you can’t miss out on! Small bites of Whipped Goat Cheese or Smoked & Fired Wings is just the start. After a few cocktails, order one of their Wood-Fired Pizzas; a Southwest Sampler favorite is the Honey Hot made with hot Calabrese salami, Calabrian chili honey, mozzarella, tomato sauce, fennel pollen.

Formally established in September of 2015, Adventurous Stills opened their ever-friendly Tempe, Arizona Tasting Room in January 2017 and is now an award-winning small-batch craft distillery. All of their spirits are crafted with 70% locally grown grains which they use to make everything by hand from grain to bottle within their on-site, hand-built equipment.
TASTING ROOM
Come visit the tasting room and enjoy a hand-crafted cocktail (or two). While choosing from the thought-out menu of locally crafted bourbon, whiskey, rum and vodka cocktails feel ask about their Taste of Arizona – this is where you can sample spirits from other craft distilleries from around the state.
DISTILLERY TOURS
Grab a cocktail and take a tour of the distillery! A trusted member of Adventurous Stills’ team will explain the process of making distilled spirits along with some of the challenges they have faced when starting out. Afterwards, enjoy tastes of 6 to 8 spirits and craft cocktails at the Tasting Room bar such as their award-winning Agave Reposado; a tequila-like spirit that will have your tastebuds on a vacation in Mexico.
Tours are given Friday and Saturday and start every hour, on the hour. The last tour starts an hour before close. There is no need to make a reservation, just make your way in a few minutes before the hour and they will be happy to get you on the next tour! Cost for a tour is $14 per person.
